Employment conditions
The Department for Labour Market Affairs, Employment Law and Collective Agreements (AO) represents Danish Shipping’s consolidated efforts to ensure sound framework conditions in the labour market. We work strategically to secure competitive and flexible terms for member shipping companies as well as employees at sea and onshore.
Through advisory services, collective bargaining agreements, close stakeholder dialogue, and targeted initiatives, we promote orderly labour conditions, employee well-being, and the overall competitiveness of the Danish maritime sector.
On these pages, you will find information on main collective agreements and arrangements concluded with Danish trade unions, along with relevant insights into labour market and employment law matters. Certain sections are restricted to members, who can access additional information by logging in.
