Policy to Avoid Whale Strikes
Ship collisions claim the lives of far too many whales each year. These collisions can also present a risk to onboard safety, particularly on smaller vessels. Therefore, it is in everyone's interest to reduce the risk of whale strikes as much as possible.
Underwater Radiated Noise
Danish Shipping recommends following IMO guidelines to mitigate underwater radiated noise and preserve biodiversity.
Biofouling Management
Danish Shipping strongly supports IMO guidelines on biofouling management to protect vulnerable marine ecosystems and the biodiversity of the seas.
