Master’s programmes
A master’s programme is an advanced part-time postgraduate degree aimed at professionals who hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have at least two years of relevant work experience. The programme is particularly relevant if you work in the maritime sector and wish to strengthen your strategic, technical, or managerial competencies. Maritime-related master’s programmes may focus, for example, on shipping management, logistics, sustainability, or offshore operations. The programmes are designed to be completed alongside full-time employment and provide opportunities for career advancement or for taking on new roles with greater responsibility—both nationally and internationally.
At the Technical University of Denmark (DTU)
Nordic Master in Maritime Engineering
This international master’s programme is designed for students who wish to work with advanced ship technology, offshore structures, and sustainable maritime technologies from a Nordic perspective. The programme awards a double degree from two of the five participating universities—one of which is DTU—and is taught in English.
The programme is offered in collaboration between DTU and partner universities in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland. As a student, you spend one academic year at each of two Nordic universities, gaining both technical specialisation and strong international competencies.
- Admission requirements: A relevant technical bachelor’s degree (e.g., mechanical engineering, naval architecture, maritime technology, or a related field). Admission is assessed individually and processed through DTU.

Executive MBA in Shipping & Logistics (“Blue MBA”)
This master’s programme is designed for professionals with substantial industry experience who wish to develop their strategic and managerial competencies within a global shipping context. The programme provides insights into supply chains, economics, logistics, business development, and sustainability—focusing on the unique conditions and challenges of the maritime industry.
The programme is offered by Copenhagen Business School and is delivered as a part-time study over approximately 22 months, with teaching organised in intensive modules. Participants come from shipping companies and maritime organisations across the world, forming a strong international network.

Master in Applied Statistics
The Master of Applied Statistics is a two-year, practice-oriented part-time programme for professionals who work with—or wish to work more strategically with—data, analysis, and decision support. The programme provides in-depth knowledge of statistical methods, data processing, visualisation, and AI techniques, and equips you to translate complex datasets into insights that can be used strategically within your organisation.
The programme is offered by Aalborg University and combines on-campus teaching in Aalborg with online lectures, workshops, and project work. It is structured to be compatible with full-time employment. Throughout the programme, you work with your own data, enabling you to apply new knowledge directly in your daily practice.

The programme is relevant for professionals across a wide range of sectors—including engineering, energy, logistics, transport, environment, finance, health, manufacturing, and other fields dealing with large datasets. No prior programming experience is required.

Master in IT Management
The Master in IT Management is a specialised part-time postgraduate programme for professionals who work with—or wish to work with—digitalisation, IT management, and technology-driven transformation processes. The programme strengthens your ability to lead digital initiatives, make strategic decisions, and drive organisational digital development across systems, people, and processes.
The programme is offered by the IT University of Copenhagen (ITU) and is completed over two years alongside full-time employment. Teaching combines research-based knowledge with practical tools in digital innovation, evidence-based management, digital transformation, and IT strategy. Students also receive individual coaching from a business psychologist and have the opportunity to build a strong professional network across sectors.

A relevant higher education degree and a minimum of two years of work experience. The programme is aimed at managers, project managers, consultants, and specialists responsible for IT, digitalisation, or technology-driven change processes in both public and private organisations.

Master in Project and Change Management
The Master in Project and Change Management is a modular master’s programme aimed at professionals who work with projects—or who wish to step into roles such as project manager, portfolio manager, or process improvement lead. The programme strengthens your ability to drive projects from idea to result, lead organisational change, and create value in complex environments.
The programme is offered by Roskilde University and is completed over two years on a part-time basis, allowing you to combine full-time employment with your studies. It consists of four modules—you can complete the full master’s programme or select individual modules depending on your needs.
